Bunyoro Leaders Praise Museveni For Opening the region to the World, better Infrastructure

Leaders from Bunyoro have praised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for opening the region to the world through working on major roads, extending electricity to more areas and other infrastructure.

President Museveni on Tuesday commissioned the complete key Bunyoro oil roads that include Masindi-Kigumba-Hoima-Kabwoya (135 Km), Kyenjojo-Kagadi-Hoima-Masindi-Kigumba (238 Km) and Hoima-Butyba-Wanseko (111 Km), Mubende-Kakumiro-Kibaale-Kagadi 107km, Masindi-Kafu among others.

The leaders from Bunyoro led by PM Robinah Nabbanja, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija and State Minister for works in charge Transport Fred Byamukama who have praised Museveni for being a committed leader and for rewarding Bunyoro with various projects also asked the wanainchi to utilize the roads to better their incomes through set up projects.

Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja has also appealed to President Museveni to intervene in Beatrice Byenkya Akiiki’s plight at ULC stressing that people believe that Beatrice Byenkya is not corrupt, urging President Museveni to either intervene or let her (Prime Minister) take up the matter.

In his speech at a function held at Bwikya Muslim P/s playground President Yoweri Museveni says that government has all along been with plans to develop many roads in Bunyoro even if oil was not discovered in Bunyoro calling on the leaders at all levels to prioritize service delivery and transformation of the quality of lives of Ugandans.

Museveni has also thanked and praised PM Nabbanja for steering the office well so far, Finance Minister Matia Kasaija and Minister Fred Byamukama among others for being a hardworking especially regarding increasing the intensity of field monitoring and supervision of Government Programs.

Government has upgraded a total of 800km are completed or under construction.
