Minister Kasaija Gets Heroic Welcome in Kibaale upon his Reappointment

Finance, Planning and Economic Development Minister, Matia Kasaija has said his reappointment in the recent cabinet reshuffle is a sign that President Yoweri Museveni has confidence in him the work well done.

Kasaija in the recent reshuffle, was retained in the same position.

Minister Kasaija was received with pomp in Karuguuza town, Kibaale Town Council in Kibaale District on his home coming from Kampala, where he has been on official duties.

Thousands of people joined a procession from Kitoma trading centre along the Mubende-Kakumiro-Kibaale highway to Karuguuza town where he addressed a gathering in the centre of the town and later the procession escorted him to his home in Buyanja cell.

Kasaija, who is also MP for Buyanja County, says that it is crucial for people to always do work as delegated by their superiors citing his example where President has always entrusted him with the finance ministry, a position he has served in diligently and selflessly.

He used the same opportunity to rally for responsible usage of the Kagadi-Kibaale-Kakumiro-Mubende highway to curb the raising accidents.

Minister Kasaija reassures locals of his determination to lobby and fulfil people’s service delivery needs including construction of Karuguuza modern market, extension of water and power, lobby more funds to provide security lights in Kibaale town council among others services.

The Area MPs and other local leaders including Dr. Emely Kugonza and Noeline Kisembo Basemera, LC3 chairpersons among others were led by Aloyz Brass Band to welcom Minister Kasaija and deemed him fit to lead Buyanja to greater heights.
