Kibaale District MPs to Procure Three Delivery Beds worth sh.5.1M

Area Members of Parliament from Kibaale District have pledged to procure 3 delivery beds worth sh.5.1 million to be donated at Kibaale Health Center IV.

This is in addition to the one delivery bed worth 2.2 million shillings for PWD expectant mothers from the funds raised from the youth marathon on Sunday.

This was announced on Sunday by Finance Minister Matia Kasaija while flagging off the Kibaale Youth marathon that was organized to fundraise for the procurement of delivery beds for expectant mothers at Kibaale health Centre IV.

He has however urged the youth to engage in developmental activities, routinely do physical exercises to themselves healthier rather than alcoholism.

Carol Kashaiza Muyambi, the Deputy RDC Kibaale, hails the Youth in Kibaale for organizing a colorful invent, and for being mindful about mothers pledging to contribute sh500, 000 towards the process of procuring beds.

Anatoli Kirigwaijjo, the Chairperson Kibaale Youth Network Initiative says over 1 million shillings was collected but their target is to procure delivery beds for expectant mothers each valued at shs1.7 million and for PWDs each valued at shs2.2 million
